Croydon is a lively part of South London, around 10 miles south of Charing Cross and close to the Surrey border. It includes areas such as Addiscombe, Shirley and Coulsdon, and is known as one of the largest commercial districts in Greater London, with plenty of shops, services and transport links.

Stansted, Essex

Stansted Mountfitchet is a charming Essex village that offers a peaceful rural feel, handy local amenities and excellent transport links.

It sits in the Uttlesford district of Essex, around 35 miles north-east of London and just a few miles from Bishop’s Stortford. Stansted Mountfitchet railway station provides regular services into London Liverpool Street, and the nearby M11 makes it easy to reach both London and Cambridge. Being so close to London Stansted Airport, the area is especially convenient for frequent travellers.
